The Inspector General of police, Mr. Solomon Arase, Thursday ordered the immediate removal of the Commander, Area E, ACP Frank Mba, who was in charge of the area that the FESTAC Town robbery attack took place.
The IGP who visited the robbery scene yesterday vowed that the perpetrators must be arrested and prosecuted.
Arase, who was represented by the Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) in charge of Zone 2 Command, comprising Lagos and Ogun states, Mr. Bala Hassan, called on members of the public to always give the police information on any suspicious movement.
Mba has been redeployed to Osogbo, Osun State.
