The First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, yesterday declared that the days in which women are indifferent to the conduct and outcome of general elections in Nigeria are over, declaring that the women are ready to ensure that they vote and their votes counted during the 2015 polls.
Dame Patience Jonathan, who made the declaration, yesterday during the official launch of the distribution of economic empowerment items and commodities to indigenes of Bayelsa State, said Nigerian women are ready to play their role in the electoral process and vote the right party in the country.
Dame Patience Jonathan, was accompanied by the wives of the Delta, Bayelsa and Cross Rivers governors.
