AWKA — Anambra State governor, Chief Willie Obiano, yesterday, directed members of the state executive council, comprising commissioners and special advisers, to ensure that they were ICT compliant to enable them keep with the pace of his administration.
The directive was part of the decision at the first executive council meeting held at Government House, Awka.
It was gathered that all the political appointees would participate in a two-day retreat aimed at shaping them up for the task ahead.
Meanwhile, it was all smiles as the exco members took delivery of their brand new Ford cars immediately after they rose from the meeting.
As the maiden exco meeting was going on, appointment seekers milled around Government House waiting for them to come out.
As soon as the exco members were out, people besieged them and group discussions and introductions started.
