multi-national living and working exposure across the African continent. He has
over 19 years experience in sales, marketing, finance and general management
functions.

He joined Promasidor Nigeria
Limited as General Manager, Marketing, in 2010, and rose to become commercial
director in January, 2013 overseeing sales, trade marketing and brand
management functions.

Onyekachi holds a B.Sc. in
Physics from the University of Jos in 1994 and obtained an MBA fromthe Gordon’s
Institute of Business Sciences, University of Pretoria, South Africa. He also
participated in the Advanced Management Programme at the prestigious Wharton
Business School (2012).

him quickly rise through the ranks. By December 1997 he was the Regional Sales
Manager at Procter & Gamble leading a team of over 20 people to deliver on
volume, distribution and visibility for the key brands within the portfolio.

Marketing Manager at P&G managing the interface between marketing and sales
departments and leading the launch of brands like Ariel and Vicks into the
Nigerian and Ghanaian markets. Armed with an unmatched understanding of
the sales field and an ardent desire to continue learning, he began his odyssey
into the world of brands & branding becoming Brand Manager of P & G in
South Africa in April 2002.

Nigeria Plc (Diageo Africa) in 2005 as marketing manager of the Guinness Brand.
His work at Guinness remained etched in memory as he was behind the multiple
award winning Greatness campaign and the ‘Udeme’ brand personification which
saw the brand soar.

Manager, Family Care at Kimberly Clark, South Africa, in 2008. Equipped
with the understanding of East & Anglo West African business terrain and
the FMCG space, he became an Associate Director at Prosperity Capital
Management in Nairobi Kenya a private equity firm in investment in Russia and
Africa.
