OBAMA IN SA FOR MADIBA MEMORIAL SERVICE

United States President Barack Obama and three predecessors, Indian President Pranab Mukherjee, and Mahatma Ghandi’s daughter, Sonia have touched down at the Waterkloof Airforce Base in Pretoria.
They are in South Africa to attend Madiba’s memorial service.
UN Secretary-General Ban-Ki Moon and African Union Commission Chairperson Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma are just some of the two top leaders scheduled to address the memorial service at FNB Stadium outside Soweto.
The programme will also see six heads of state including Obama pay tribute to the global icon. Host, President Jacob Zuma will deliver the key note address to the over 80 000 strong crowd that has started filling up the stadium.
