ABACHA’S MEMORIAL PRAYERS HELD IN KANO

Prayers for the late
Head of State General Sani Abacha were held yesterday in Kano at the late
general’s residence in Nassarawa GRA, Kano.
The prayer session was in line with the 15-year memorial
prayers organized for the late head of state who died on June 8, 1998.
This year’s prayer session was without much publicity.

In the early hours of yesterday, invited Ulamas were spotted converging on the
residence of the late Abacha.
The prayers were held around 10:00am with the invited Ulamas and members of the
Abacha family in attendance.
During the 10th late Abacha memorial prayers, the family announced that there
would no longer be any public gathering to pray for the late general.
