Nigerian born Big Brother Africa finalist, Beverly Osu, has fired back at industry critics for constantly shelling out judgements at her past.
Beverly, who has wormed into mainstream entertainment after a controversy spinning Big Brother Africa outing in 2013, is gradually becoming a phenomenon in the industry as she has been acting, singing, modelling and doing everything to prove her worth and talents to her fans ever since.
In spite of all her efforts to wipe the slate of her supposedly dark past clean, Black Diamond, as she fondly called, is not making any progress in polishing her blameworthiness from the world. The Jenifa’s Diary actress who has repeatedly pleaded with her Nigerian fans to ease off on her, used her twitter handle (@Beverly_osu) to deliver yet another dose of appeal to the industry.
“We are products of our past, but we don’t have to be prisoners of it…but the problem Nigerians have is to be in prison on your behalf.
“Don’t judge me until you know me. Don’t underestimate me until you challenge me. And don’t talk about me until you talk to me. 2 d industry.
“Been judged for the stupidest things…it’s annoying..im not looking for love from the world I only want my sanity back.
“I can’t change the past so I’m focusing on making my future great, I’m done with the whole damage control bullshit,” Beverly says.
