Disturbed by the spate of killings and bombings in the North East region, the Igbo resident in the zone have been advised to use this Christmas and New year mass return period to leave the zone in their own interest.
Giving the advice while wishing them a happy celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), in Oyi Local Government Area, Anambra State, led by Chief Vincent Obiorah Anyakorah, reiterated that nobody would be blamed if they lose their lives to the insurgents.
According to him, the Christmas holiday makers have seen what APGA has put on ground in the state in terms of achievements, adding that the achievements would speak for it come 2015 general elections.
He however, expressed the hope that the Federal Government would win the war in no
distant time, and urged it to sustain the tempo of attack on the insurgents to avoid frustrating the conduct of smooth elections in the zone.
In Anambra, he stated that APGA was on ground, and called on residents to see APGA as the party that would take them to the Promised Land.
“In Oyi, APGA is the household name, no other part exists in practice and I wish the people happy
Christmas and New Year celebrations in advance, and also to cast their votes for APGA in the coming election,” he revealed.
