The Defence Headquarters has appointed a new Director of Information. He is Major General John Enenche.
A statement by the Defence Headquarters, signed by Lieutenant Commander Way Olabisi, said Major General Enenche replaced Brigadier General Rabe Abubakar.
According to the statement, Brigadier General Abubakar was moved to the Department of Civil Military Affairs, Army Headquarters, as the Director of Information Management. Until his appointment as the new Defence spokesman, Enenche was the Defence Liaison Officer at the Defence Headquarters. He has since taken over with effect from March 6. Enenche is the elder brother of Dr. Paul Enenche, the Senior Pastor at Dunamis International Gospel Centre, and also the son of the paramount ruler of Ogbadibo Local Government Area of Benue State.
