Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Friday, carried out a raid on the Abuja residence of the immediate past Comptroller-General (CG) of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Alhaji Abdullahi Dikko.
The Recorder learnt that the operatives numbering about seven stormed the former CG’s residence in Jabi at about 7: 00am.
It was gathered that Dikko was not at home when the anti-graft agency’s operatives arrived his residence.
The raid on Dikko’s house is coming on the heels of the arrest and prosecution of a former National Security Adviser (NSA), Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd), and many other prominent Nigerians, over the $2.1 billion arms scandal.
Dikko resigned sometime in August last year.
