A blast rocked a mosque in the Kano metropolis on Monday evening, leading to an unspecified number of casualties. This is the third in two days – after suicide attacks on a church in Potiskum, Yobe state, and a double attack in Jos, Plateau state, on Sunday. Boko Haram insurgents are the immediate suspects.
