A rescue team led by the Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase brought Falae to his home on Oba-Ile Road, Akure from Owo, where he was dumped by his abductors.
Falae, who arrived into the hands of family members and jubilant crowd that had been waiting since morning wore a white caftan with a blue cap.
The former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) , Chief Olu Falae, on Thursday afternoon regained his freedom four days after he was abducted on his farm located at Ilado in Akure North Local Government area of Ondo State.
The neat appearance of Falae, who rode in the same black jeep with the Inspector General of Police to his home, suggested that he changed to the new clothes after he was picked by the search team.
Ha arrived his home at about 4:30 pm.
The IG, who left Falae’s house immediately for Abuja noted that crime is a global issue.
