PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari, on the third day of his official visit to the United States of America refused shift ground on the nation’s stance against same-sex marriage.
“The same-sex marriage issue came up at the joint session of Senate and House Committees on Foreign Relations, not in direct talks with Obama but he rejected the offer.” His Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina said.
President Muhammadu Buhari was point blank. Sodomy is against the law in Nigeria, and abhorrent to our culture.
“Talks had shifted to another matter once the President emphatically stated Nigeria’s stand on same-sex marriage, the issue was not pushed,” he posited.
