IGP ORDERS AUDIT OF POLICE INVESTMENTS, SUBSIDIARIES

The Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Idris, has named two firms to audit police Investments and subsidiaries.
Idris said Messers Nsebot William & Co and Gbenga Abimbola & Co would carry out the assignment in six weeks.
A statement from police spokesman, DCP Don Awunah, said yesterday that Idris made the disclosure while addressing the board and management of police investments bodies and subsidiaries at the Police Headquarters in Abuja Wednesday.
Awunah listed the bodies and subsidiaries to be audited as the NPF Pensions, NPF Mortgage Bank, NPF Cooperative Ltd, NPF HMO, NPF Insurance and NPF Property Dev. Company.
