I said this without an iota of exaggeration that there is no Nigeria politician that has been so humiliated like me, because no politician has passed through the travails I have passed through in the hands of ICPC, EFCC, Code of Conduct bureau, Code of Conduct Tribunal and Professor Ayua Panel set up in the presidency to try me. The panel came out with a white paper banning me from politics for ten years, they confiscated my assets and hired assassins were sent to kill me. The last incident was at the University of Anyigba stadium when I was invited for an occasion where in a broad day light hired killers opened fire on my car but I narrowly escaped being killed. It was the prayer from my supporters that made me escape the death trap. God is the omnipotent, the greatest and we are thankful to God that we are still alive today and we will continue to be struggling until we see light at the end of the tunnel.I am not in politics to struggle for any position. I am not in politics to contest for governor or president. I am in politics to talk, to be the megaphone and to be the mouthpiece of the less privileged in the state and in the country at large. I will continue the struggle until we get to the promise land, and the promise land is the ability to use our God given resources for the development of our people.
It is piteous and painful when I see a young man who graduated from higher institution with good grade but cannot get job to do and help his immediate family. Instead, they would be recruited to do thuggery or kidnapping. It is a shame on the side of the government at all levels. Whenever I talked, I am not criticizing President Jonathan or Captain Idris Wada but the system. The whole system in the country is wrong and we have not been blessed with good leaders, right from the military era till now.
