President Goodluck Jonathan Saturday in Osogbo, Osun state, presented Senator Iyiola Omisore to the electorates of the state, urging them to massively vote for him in the August 9 Governorship Election.
The highpoint of the rally was the official presentation of the PDP flag to the Osun state PDP governorship candidate, Iyiola Omisore. The flag was jointly handed over to Omisore by the PDP national chairman, Adamu Muazu and President Jonathan.
Speaking at the rally, President Jonathan apologised for coming late, but said that they used the occasion to pay courtesy visit to the traditional rulers of the state. He said that the birthday gift of the vice president who was 60 years Saturday would be the victory of Omisore at the August 9 governorship victory.

President Jonathan also described Omisore and his running mate as the governor and deputy governor in waiting, stating that the team will come back to present the report card of his administration.

He described Omisore as a grassroot politician who understands the politics and welfare of the people, pledging that his administration would work together to develop the state.
