A car laden with Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) this evening killed many people in Sabon Gari area of Kano metropolis.
Our correspondent reports that the car was parked along middle road by Gold coast near a popular beer parlour around 9.pm. The sound of explosion was heard across the state metropolis by 9.20pm.
Residents of the area told our correspondent that the car bomb exploded minutes after the driver who is a suspected Boko Haram joined a waiting tricycle.
“The car exploded after the suspected sect member left the area. It killed many persons and many others including children were injured,” a resident told our correspondent.
Our correspondent reports that the last time when bomb exploded in the state was in July last year and it happened in the same Sabon Gari area of the state.
