Telecoms giant, MTN, on Monday said it would hike its tariffs for some data plans with effect from Thursday December 1, 2016.
In an SMS to subscribers, MTN said it was only complying with the new rates set by the Nigerian Communications Commission for operator.
The SMS reads: “Dear customer, please be informed that from 1st Dec, some MTN data tariffs will be increased to reflect the new rates set by the NCC to operators. Thank you.”
