Professor Wole Soyinka,has reacted to a statement credited to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu that APC would like General Obasanjo to be the navigator of his party. The Nobel Laureate said that the move will lead to ‘’the guaranteed crash’’ of the APC’s ship. Soyinka then threw in this jibe: ‘’Don’t forget to alert the coast guards – ECOWAS, AU, UNO etc etc – to be on the alert for possible salvage operations. He concluded: “By the way, if General Sani Abacha were alive today, would he also have been on the ship’s complement? As captain perhaps’’?
