Governor Murtala Nyako of Ada-mawa State has threatened
to take a legal action against African Independent Television (AIT) for what it
called professional misconduct and reportage of falsehood.
Nyako, who was reacting to a news item by AIT on
Wednesday that his election had been inva-lidated by the Appeal Court sitting

Nyako said as a responsible government, he will not allow
any action that will jeopardise the peace being enjoyed in Adamawa State.
He said, “AITs action is a parody of the noble
