Osun state House of Assembly on Thursday put a stop to speculations that it was attempting to sweep the petition written by a serving Judge, Justice Folahanmi Oloyede, against Governor Rauf Aregbesola, under the carpet.
However, the Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Hon,. Najeem Salaam, has consequently inaugurated seven-man committee that will look into the petition seeking a probe that will lead into the impeachment of the governor.
Salam said during a press briefing at the state House of Assembly that the committee would work for two weeks and come up with their recommendations. He urged them to carry out the assignment without prejudice
