The factional Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Sen Ali Modu Sheriff, yesterday promised flexible and realistic conditions for the resolution of the crisis in the party.
Sheriff said that resolution in the party has become imperative as the crisis was becoming a threat to the nation’s democracy.
Sheriff, who spoke through his factional National Secretary, Professor Adewale Oladipo, added that it was agreed that his faction will bring 12 persons to make up the 24-man committee that would look into the party crisis in a bid to resolve it.
He said, “The two leaders have agreed that a 24-man committee of committed PDP leaders and members from all over the country will be formed to chart the way forward for our party.
“This is with a view to bringing this unnecessary crisis to a stop and make sure that our party comes out of it stronger.
