The gubernatorial candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP , Mallam Nuhu Ribadu has vowed to use the last droop of his blood to break the jinx of corruption in Adamawa state, if voted into power at the polls..
Ribadu made the assertion at an interactive session with PDP stakeholders at Lelewa Hotel in Yola on Monday, saying that as a former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), it was a burden on him to liberate the state of corrupt practices that have delayed development of the state.
The former EFCC boss called on the stakeholders to join hands with him in his ambition to liberate the state from corruption which he believed was one of the reasons for all forms of social vices the state is facing presently.
He noted that as a result of this cankerworm called corruption, the government has failed in providing jobs to the teaming youths in the society as such the youth became idle and had nothing else to think about than ways to get out of frustrations.
“My duty is to make sure jobs are created from all parts of the state, Adamawa money is meant for you people; therefore, nobody, I repeat nobody will steal the money belonging to you. I will utilize it well and bring massive development in the state.” Ribadu said.
