GOVERNOR of Jigawa State, Sule
Lamido, has asked Nigerians to return to God for solutions to the problems
facing the country, especially the current security challenges.
Lamido gave the admonition yesterday at the Hawan Bariki when
the Emir of Dutse, Alhaji Nuhu Sanusi, paid him Sallah homage at the late
Muhammad Sanusi Durba Ground in Dutse, the state capital.
He said things went “wrong in the country because Nigerians
abandoned God in the ways they did things. Oppression, injustice and wickedness
are responsible for the current crisis in the country. We should seek
forgiveness from God and mend our ways so that things can change for the
better.”
