Nigerian actress Iyabo Ojo has opened up about her traumatic experiences with sexual assault, revealing she was raped five times.
Speaking on the ‘Talk to B’ podcast, Ojo reiterated her unwavering stance against rape, emphasizing that she remains unapologetic about confronting sexual violence.
“I was raped five times in my life. I discovered we have a lot of rape apologists,” she said during the interview. “I do not care who the person is, even if the person is my son, I’m going to come for him unapologetically.”
The actress also shared insights into her complicated family background, revealing that she grew up with her grandmother and only met her mother after seven years.
“My dad did everything, both alcohol and drugs, so it messed him up at a young age,” she disclosed, offering a glimpse into the challenges that shaped her early life.
