THE Federal Government, on Thursday, refuted the reports on the purported ban of commercial motorcycles nationwide.
It also appealed to the general public to discard the media reports as they are incorrect and not in line with the resolutions of the recent National Council on Transport.
In a statement from the Federal Ministry of Transport, the government described the reports as misleading.
It reads: “Federal Government has no plan whatsoever to ban and has not banned motorcycles nationwide.
“The National Council on Transport meeting held recently did not resolve that the Federal Government should ban the use of commercial motorcycles nationwide.”
