Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen delivered a match-winning performance to help Galatasaray defeat Trabszonspor and clinching the 2025 Turkish Cup on Wednesday night.
Galatasaray forward, Barıs Alper Yılmaz scored the opener in the 5th minute of the encounter, before Victor Osimhen grabbed a convincing brace at the 46th and 63th minutes respectively.
Galatasaray have now clinched the Turkish Cup 19th times, the Yellow and Reds last won the Turkish Cup during the 2018/19 season. The team is also on the verge of winning the Turkish Super Lig, aiming for a double.
The Turkish Cup is Osimhen’s first trophy in Turkey since joining on loan from Napoli.
