father could regain consciousness, the mentally deranged son went
for a sharp knife and slaughtered his father. It was the screaming of the
father that attracted neighbours who rushed to the scene only to find the
father slaughtered and in a pool of his own blood.

what he had done or perhaps awaiting a prize for his dastardly action, the son who slaughtered his
father still stood dazed beside the deceased until police came and arrested
him. “He didn’t run away,” a neighbour said.
