Contrary to ongoing speculation that the NBC last week banned Wande Coal “Go low” video from being air on Terrestrial TV, the agency has denied such allegation.
Quote from thenetng, Spokes person of NBC explained that the commission ‘merely verbally advised stations should edit the musical video’ before using it on Terrestrial TV stations.
‘We have no issues with the lyrics; the issue is with the video clip and just a tiny part of it. The advice is to edit that part before use on broadcasting stations’ said Francisca Aiyetan, a rep from the Broadcast Content and Zonal Coordination of the commission.
She also explained the importance of NBC’s strictness with videos aired on terrestrial free-to-air stations.
